My Story

I grew up in a Christian home where my dad was a pastor and my mother involved in Women’s and Children’s Ministries. My mother led me to Christ when I was 8 years old, a day I remember clearly as my own personal confession of believing that Jesus is real, that he died for my sins and rose from the dead, and that I would follow him as my Lord and Savior for the rest of my life. Throughout the ups and downs of life, I have always sensed the presence of God, even when I did not at times fully understand the journey I was on. His compassion and grace have grown ever more deeply in my understanding as I have walked with Him.

Starting from an early age, I was part of a Christian community, whether attending services, Sunday school, youth events or Bible studies. Being part of these groups or communities has helped me to understand the purposes of God in my life and His desire to be in relationship with me.

In the past twenty plus years since attending Grace, I have grown in my understanding of the power of prayer through encountering God in deeply significant and personal ways that transformed my understanding of the profound love of the Father, the discovery of which continues on even today.

Through the experiential love of the Father, combined with sound biblical teaching, I have grown in knowledge of the Father’s heart toward me and others, as well as my true identity as a child of God.

My Hope for Grace

My hope for Grace is that many people will discover how much God the Father values His children by sending Jesus to this earth to make payment for them, so that they no longer need to live under condemnation or oppression, but can walk with God filled with hope and gladness for today and into all of eternity.
