Worship Ministry Production Leader

We are looking for a part-time Worship Ministry Production Leader to execute and oversee all sound, video and lighting production, including coaching and overseeing volunteers.
Responsibilities include:
Worship Service Productions
  • Prepare for and execute a distraction-free worship experience
  • Prepare slides for ProPresenter presentation software for use in the service
  • Utilize audio engineering experience on large digital consoles (currently Allen & Heath LD112) and Dante Network focusing on consistent sound image, including the use of MultiTracks/Playback
  • Utilize experience with lighting and video systems to meet sanctuary ambiance and streaming goals
  • Oversee mixing of product for sanctuary, live-streaming, and podcasts
  • Program audio and lighting systems when required
  • Postproduction editing, rendering and distribution of sermons
  • Prepare and trouble-shoot sanctuary technology for efficient operations
  • Support team with special events
Volunteer Team Building and Coaching
  • Coach and build a volunteer support team on audio operation and consistency
AV/Tech Support for Other Ministry Areas
  • Keep cases, cables and work areas neat
  • Work with all church ministries to ensure AV/Tech needs are setup and training to operate a standalone system is provided

Other:

  • Base 16 hours per week
  • Sundays include worship service set up, execution and post-production
  • A second day for Pro-Presenter preparation, technology setup, programing, stage-design, trouble-shooting and setup and support of AV in other parts of the building as required.
Possible Full-Time Role:
  • This role may be combined with a Building and Grounds Manager position (description below) to create a full-time role with full benefits for the right candidate.
  • As a full-time position the team leader would have additional responsibility for volunteer team recruiting, coaching and scheduling, and participate more broadly in the life and growth of Grace Church.
  • Additional potential responsibilities are part-time graphics and IT network support.

Building and Grounds Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Building and Grounds Manager to manage the maintenance and upkeep of the site, ensure infrastructure is running as it should, and to identify areas for greater efficiency and cost saving. The role requires planning and management and willingness to do basic tasks when required. It is beneficial, but not essential, to be able to perform ad-hoc building repairs.
Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the building is cleaned and maintained – with help of team members and contractors
  • Ensuring grounds are kept neat and maintained – with help of team members and contractors
  • Schedule and oversee the work of team members
  • Working with Executive Director to source and oversee contracts and service providers for functions such as cleaning, landscaping, maintenance of building systems
  • Calling and overseeing trade specialists as needed
  • Managing relationships with vendors, service providers and local emergency service providers
  • Dealing with emergencies as they arise
  • Team building/ recruiting volunteers and custodian support
  • Ensuring all compliance programs are met
  • Managing the facilities management budget
  • Advising the Executive Director on efficiency, safety, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Planning and communicating the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements

Building Team Member(s)

We are building a team to help manage and maintain our beautiful property and facility. Team members will be paid hourly and there is flexibility in how a particular role will be structured based on an individual’s availability and skills. Team members will report to the Building and Grounds Manager or Executive Pastor.
All or some responsibilities include:
  • Regular cleaning which includes vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms, wiping surfaces, washing hard surface flooring and trash clearing
  • Room setup and take-down, including moving equipment around the building
  • Sunday service support from 7:30am to 1pm which could include any practical support in the building from clearing entrances before service, supporting ministries with building and supply needs, trouble shooting in bathrooms, etc
  • Adhoc handyman services such as painting, basic carpentry, changing light bulbs

Other:
  • Reports to Building and Grounds Manager

Grounds Team Member(s)

We are building a team to help manage and maintain our beautiful property and facility. Team members will be paid hourly and there is flexibility in how a particular role will be structured based on an individual’s availability and skills. Team members will report to the Building and Grounds Manager or Executive Pastor.
All or some responsibilities include:
  • Regular weekly mowing of lawn around building and large fields. Grace has a tractor mower and necessary equipment
  • Seasonal fertilizing of lawns, spring and fall clean-ups
  • Maintenance of flower beds
  • Basic tree management
  • Weed management in parking lot and hardscape areas
  • Typical clean up and maintenance of grounds, parking lots
