What to expect ...

Our Sunday services are focused on worshiping God authentically and meaningfully. They include times of singing led by our worship team and an encouraging message from one of our pastors, usually our lead pastor Marc Peña. Families are welcome to attend services with their children. Many families take advantage of our children's programming and nursery care led by caring volunteers.

Grace's Welcome Team is available to help you feel at home. Be sure to park in our Visitor's Lot when you arrive, and feel free to introduce yourself at the Welcome Kiosk in our main lobby. We have new people joining us every Sunday, and hope to see you soon!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear when I come to church?

We are more concerned with real life issues than we are with what you are wearing. Some people like to dress casually, while others like to get more dressed up.  If you come wearing what is most comfortable for you, you will feel right at home with the rest of our church family.

Will you ask me to make a donation?

We feel like financial giving is the responsibility of our members and regular attenders, so there are NO expectations placed on our guests to give financially.  There will be a Connection Card in the seatback pocket on the chair in front of you.  The card gives us a way to connect with you during the week.  Consider filling one out and let that be your donation when you come.

What do you offer for children and students?

Reaching the next generation is a priority for our church so we have an interactive, high energy, creative team led by a group of amazing volunteers to serve children.

Middle School

For middle school students we have an opportunity for hanging out and game time with friends followed by solid Biblical teaching by a variety of gifted teachers who are passionate about discipleship. Committed adult leaders, opportunities to deepen friendships, lessons that middle schoolers can apply to their every day life and a healthy dose of fun make the mornings special for our kids.

High School

Our high school students meet together on Sunday mornings for a time of hanging out, learning and fun. Teachers share Biblically-based teachings designed to impact youth in a relevant, meaningful way. Getting together on Sunday mornings help teens draw closer to God and live out their faith while building relationships with each other.

How can I meet people at Grace?

Outside of people being genuinely nice to you at our worship gatherings, there are several ways for you to get connected to others on a regular basis – Life Groups, Women, Men, etc.

You can email us at info@gracehudson.org if you'd like more information.

Wondering about God ...

We are a community where questions about faith and life are expected and welcomed.  People at Grace come from a wide variety of religious and spiritual backgrounds.  If you are exploring faith or learning about Christianity for the first time, we invite you to come and listen in.

  • Who is God?

That's a great question! For many people understanding who God is is based on personal preference (i.e. whatever they feel is an appropriate belief about God).

We believe that understanding who God is does not begin with our individual thoughts, feelings or preferences but on what He has revealed. We believe that God has revealed Himself in the person of Jesus Christ as attested to in the Bible, the Word of God. Check out John 1:1-14 and Colossians 1:15-20.

  • What religion is the right one?

Reconsider that question in the light of the fact that God wants a relationship with you, not your religious affiliation.

"You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus...There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus"

    (Galatians 3: 26-28)

  • God loves you!

Look at what He did to show that love: "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."

    (John 3: 16-17)

  • How can I experience meaning and purpose in life?

We believe that purpose is found in following Jesus and by cultivating your relationships with God and with other people.

    Matthew 22: 37-40 says:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."

"And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

According to the Bible, until a person comes to terms with Jesus, he or she hasn't dealt with what is most important in starting a relationship with God.

  • Consider Who Jesus Is

Jesus is the most influential person in history. He was a poor, itinerant preacher and the son of a carpenter, but also the Son of God, and he changed the entire course of world history.

How can any serious spiritual search overlook Jesus?

For example, today's date is based on a reckoning that hinges on Jesus' life. Because of Him, people were moved to split world history into two eras: "before Him" and "after Him" (B.C. and A.D.).
