Community Outreach

In serving different populations within our local community, our teams share the love of Jesus with others while growing in their own faith.

Community outreach enables people to build new relationships and grow in their faith while serving those in need.

Opportunities to Serve

WARM (Worcester Area Refugee Ministry)

WARM helps refugees settle into their new homes and lives in Worcester.  There are many ways to befriend those newly arriving in our community.  Teams regularly assist with setting up apartments, moving furniture and providing basic items necessary for a new household (baby items, kitchen items, etc.).  Individuals from Grace are invited to join WARM in their efforts to support refugee families.

Pleasant Street Baptist Church

Located in downtown Worcester, Pleasant Street Baptist Church serves low income, disadvantaged families. Grace comes alongside Pleasant Street Baptist Church by assisting with their Vacation Bible School, their community clothing closet, and helping with church building repairs.

Our Father’s Table

Every other month, a team from Grace serves a meal for people in need at Our Father’s Table, a soup kitchen in Marlborough. Our Father’s Table serves a large number of low income women, children, families and veterans.

Builders for Christ

Builders for Christ sends construction teams to churches in need of repairs or renovations every summer. Individuals with or without construction skills comprise the teams, with families often serving together. Trips are typically a week in length. Past teams have traveled to churches in Michigan, Texas and Connecticut.  This summer, we served in Worcester from July 24-28.
