Advent & Christmas Services

The Advent season, beginning on Sunday, December 3, is a time of expectant waiting and preparation for the celebration of the nativity of Jesus at Christmas.  In recognition of Advent, "The Promise" sermon series will begin the first Sunday of Advent and culminate on Sunday, December 24, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

We will hold our two regularly scheduled services on Sunday, December 24, at 9:00 & 10:30 AM, and in the evening we will have three Christmas Eve services at 4:00, 5:30 & 7:00 PM.

Invitation postcards are available at the Information Kiosk for inviting family, friends and neighbors to join in this special time of celebration!  All are welcome!

Christmas Giving Opportunities

Blessing those in need during the Christmas season is a wonderful way to live out our faith by being the light in a dark world.  There are now two opportunities at Grace for you and your family to bless people in need during the holidays, right in our own communities.   You can visit our Connection Hallway to grab informational flyers, or you can click on the links provided below:

Christmas Care Boxes:  Bless the homeless population right in our own community with a care box full of basic items.  Click HERE for a list of suggested items.  The collection deadline for care boxes is Sunday, December 10.

Our Father's Table - Long Johns:  Bless the homeless population in Marlborough by keeping them warm.  Click HERE for information on needed donations.  The collection deadline for long johns is Sunday, December 17.

Operation Christmas Child: This year Grace was a regional drop-off center.  It was a wonderful turnout with more than 1,200 boxes delivered!

Deep Freeze

Our annual winter retreat at Camp Berea is right around the corner!  This is a great opportunity for High School and Middle School students to encounter God, have fun, and deepen relationships with one another.  This year, our retreat dates are February 9 through 11.  Click HERE to download the packet of information that gives you everything you need to successfully register your student.

To register, click HERE.  The registration deadline is December 9 and the cost is $200.  December 10 the cost goes up to $250.  If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Ralph Batykefer at rbatykefer@gracehdudson.org or ext. 105.

Baptism Class

Baptism speaks primarily of a personal, public identification with Jesus Christ.  If you have questions or you are thinking about taking this important step in your spiritual journey, our next two-part baptism class is being held on Sunday, January 21 & 28, at 10:30 AM in Room 212.  Baptisms will take place on Sunday, February 25.  A sign-up sheet is available at the Information Kiosk in the main foyer.

If you have questions or would like more information, contact Pastor Don Whitesel at dwhitesel@gracehudson.org or ext. 111.

This Spring the Women's Retreat will once again take place along the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee at the beautiful Brookwood Conference Center in Alton, NH, April 6-8, 2018.  This year's theme is THIRST: My Soul Thirsts for God (Psalm 42:2).   Our guest speaker will be Erica Renaud.  Check her out HERE
