Children

Here at Grace, we think kids are a big deal! The goal of children’s ministry is to forge firm foundations of faith through Scripture, worship, offering help, relationships and prayer.

Our volunteers and programs support families through every stage of childhood, building relationships and helping kids to know and follow Jesus along the way.

Sunday Mornings

Every Sunday morning, Grace offers engaging, age-appropriate, interactive classes for children ages two through 5th grade, and nursery care for infants through age two.

Our creative, dedicated volunteers are trained in safety and Bible-based teaching and provide warm, welcoming environments where kids can play, explore, and learn about God’s love.

  • Parent Time Out

Parent Time Out (PTO) allows parents to drop off their kids (Infant through 5th grade) at Grace for an extended time of childcare. Adults have the chance to have an evening out and kids have the chance to spend time together outside of a Sunday morning. PTO typically includes games, crafts, snacks and free time. Your children will be loved, served, and have a wonderful time playing and hanging out with other kids. PTO is offered 3-4 times per year and is popular among children and adults alike.

  • Mountaintop Adventures

Designed for fourth and fifth graders, Mountaintop Adventures offers monthly outings to enable older elementary students to strengthen friendships with one another and to deepen their relationship with God. From fishing to ropes courses to special Christmas events, Mountaintop Adventures shares foundational Biblical teachings with young people in the context of unique group activities. The group also attends Snow Camp, a weekend-long retreat in New Hampshire, every January.

  • Vacation Bible School

Every August about 300 children descend upon the Grace campus for a week of VBS. Open to children ages 4 and up, VBS is a camp-style program with a different theme every summer. Through skits, songs, games, videos, crafts and other fun activities, kids learn about God’s love as they meet new friends and create lifelong memories.

This year's VBS, "Maker Fun Factory" takes place August 7-11, 2017 from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. Preschool registration is FULL.  We are still accepting walk-ins for children who have completed Kindergarten through 5th grade.

  • MOMS CONNECT

Every Monday, from 3:30 to 5:00PM, moms gather with their babies to support and encourage one another and to form friendships.  Meet us in Rooms 104/105.  Come late or leave early!  Feel free to drop in!  Kids are welcome to come and play.  For more information, contact Ashley Frigo at ashleymfrigo@gmail.com.

  • Family Fun Days

One way families connect with one another at Grace is at our quarterly Family Fun Days. Roller skating parties, movie nights, visits to the zoo and other fun events provide families a chance to spend time with one another. They are also a great way to introduce friends and neighbors to the Grace family.
