Are you separated, currently going through a divorce, or already divorced?
If so, we invite you to a DivorceCare Workshop. This 13-week video series meets Thursdays, from 6:30-8:30 pm, in Room 213/215.
The video-based series "hosts" are nationally-recognized experts on divorce and recovery topics. Open group discussion will follow the weekly video, and you will hear first-hand how to deal with the pain and look forward to rebuilding your life.
Some of the topics covered will be:
• What’s Happening To Me?
• The Road to Healing/Finding Help
• Facing Your Anger
• Facing Your Depression
• Facing Your Loneliness
• What Does the Owner’s Manual Say?
• New Relationships
• Financial Survival
• KidCare
• Single Sexuality
• Forgiveness
• Reconciliation
• Moving On, Growing Closer to God
A program for children whose parents are separated or divorced, is held at the same time. Divorcecare4Kids (DC4K), is designed to help children, age 5-12 find healing and encouragement and establish coping skills during the breakup of their parents.
Each session is "self-contained," so you can begin attending on any week. The program runs throughout the calendar year, but takes a short break between each 13-week period. There is no cost for the adult program and $15 for the kids program (which includes a light meal). For additional information on both programs, email Louise Hale or by calling 978-562-8550 x 112.
